The Western Cape boasts a wide variety of sea side towns such as Knysna (the oyster capital of South Africa, Plettenberg Bay, Hermanus and Wilderness which are all full of character and have much to offer visitors. A drive along the Garden Route which incorporates many of these little towns is a must do activity for anybody wanting to enjoy some of South Africa’s finest scenery.
Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschoek and Worcester are home to some of the best wine farms in the world. A trip along the wine route is recommended to all wine lovers and the family in general. Nederburg, Spier and Simonsberg are all excellent ports of call.
Cape Town is South Africa’s most beautiful city and one can easily get lost in its splendour. Table Mountain, Boulders Beach, Cape Point and The Castle are all excellent places that are well worth visiting but Cape Town has so much to offer that they all cannot possibly be mentioned. Cape Town is vibrant, beautiful and has a charm of its own. It is definitely a City worth a visit.
